There has been a track at Queen's since the Club was first opened in 1987. Up to the war it was a three-

afterwards it was converted into

four laps. Since 1988 the Inter- University sports have been held at Queen's, and all the present recordy For the sports, with the exception of M. J. Brook's famous high jump, have been set up at this ground most of the running recorda being accomplished on the three-lap track. Other athletic meetings held at Queen's of late years have been Woolwich," Sandhurst, and Cran- well sports, and the Public Schools (Past and Present) Relay Races, while the Achilles Club have had their headquarters at the Club.

If the Universities do nce want to move to another venue at 'ence, the Queen's Club track will be kept in order until next spring, and the conversion of the ground made After the next University sports.

The Universitics will probably choose Stamford Bridge, the L.A.C. track, for their annual meeting place, and though many will regret the moving from Queen's, the Chelsea ground offers much better accommodation both for spectators and competitors, besides possewing a faster track.
