Sarpedon, August 23rd. showed the best cargo returns. The achaon, September 19th sa. Recuer discharged 6,273 tons of Patrocius, September 20th. general cargo from Tacoma and Miike, and the s.s. Hinang from Sandakan had 4,160 tons. Seven of the foreign vessels carried cargoes ol, over 2,000 tons.
Through freights were good, but the showed a slight decrease on previous day's.total. Of the 18,903 tone carried by twelve vessels, only one British vessel had cargo for through ports. This was the da Wai-thing with 333 tons from Shanghai and Swatow. The best carriers were the ss., Ethan Allan (American) with 4,488 tons of oil fuet from New Orleans (U.S.A.). and Shanghai. The n.8. Toyoaks Varu carried 3,888 tone from Yoko hama and Shanghai.
