THIRTEEN BOAT PEOPLE FINED.

Thirteen boat people appeared before Comdr. J. B. Newill at the Marine Court yesterday morning. Eight of these were summoned for anchoring their graft within the Southern Fairway thereby causing obstruction to other vessels in the Harbour. All pleaded guilty and a fine of $10 or 14 days' imprison- ment was imposed on" each of the defendants.
Four others appeared on a sum- mona for lying inshore at a dis- tance of less than 100 yards of low water mark. All four ploaded guilty and a similar fins of 810 or 14 days was imposed.
