HANDICAP.

NO CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH.

Yesterday was a blank day főr the championship events in the Hong Kong Cricket Club Tour mamont, but five matches were decided in the handicap events.

The best match was that between S. E. Green (owe 13/9) and Q. F.

· E. Bishop (rec, 15/1) in the Handi,, cap Singles "A" which produced a ding dong struggle out of which the latter emerged successful. The difference in the standard of the two competitors was made up by the handicap and both found games hard to win. The ex-cham pion had the lead in the opening stages until all was called. Each than had the advantage game in turn, but it was not until 9-all was reached that Bishop managed to win the bet Green made a great effort to save the match by winning the second set, but Bishop continu ed to play strongly and won the est
