INTER-REGIMENTAL BOXING.

K.0.9.B.'S WIN BY NARROW MARGIN.

CLEAN AND HARD FIGHTING AT FINÜLS.

"THE G.O.C.'S CONGRATULATIONS.

The frat inter-regimental baving tournament was' carried, to a succentul conclusion on Saturday night when the 2nd Bat of the King's Own Scottish Borderers came ent with flying colours, hat the margin of their lead was only two points.

The E.O.S.B.'s are, indeed, a givup of hard and clean fighters, and had it not been for the disqualification of Pie. Hume in the second round for nocidentally hitting low the belt: they would have won by a bigger margin.

The 2nd Bart. Scots Guards took seeque pidże, and they also myst"be congratulated on their gameness. They certainly gave the K.O.S.B.'s a good run for their money.

At the conclusion of the bout, H.K. Major-General C. C. Luard (G.0.0. congratulated the winners and said that boxing was one of things that went to the making of a good soldier. In this game of give and take, the soldier was taught to keep a cool head, to take physical punishment and to put up a back to the wall, stand against his advéranty.
