the

Fessel being wrecked, and that the Convicts were left him on the wreck of the Vessel-
On the 3rd Instant, one
of
the Convicts, "Tang-a-shing"," managed to reach this Colony
under circumstances which will be explained in a __ Petition to
my address, from
which it seems that only himself and another have been saved._
It is singular why this
man should in his situation have returned to this Colony: and taking into consideration the crime for which he was

transported (Burglary and Larceny of a watch), and the hardship, perils, and sufferings he has undergone, I have
taken it
on
him, in the

name
of Her. Majesty, a Pardon subject to the condition, that he does
· not return to this Colony during the residue of his Sentence,- which I trust will be approved by Your Lordship.-
