An engagement for Miss Maude Roydon, the famous English preacher, to address the Woman's Home Missionary, Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Chicago on February 12th has been cancelled by Mrs. D. B. Brummitt, chairman of the arrangements com mittee, the supposed reason being the fact that has Royden some- times smokes cigarettes.
