MOJI & KOBE Sandaka on Nogalizik, Mr. Doh Hong, Mr. Too November 28th, the Secretary read Choo Wing,, Mr. Woo Sing Lian 4 letter received from the local Bursel, M. C. J. van Heyse CANTON agents of the Indo-Chin Steat Through passengen: Miss E. H Navigation Co., Ltd.
This letter supplied, in cons, A. Hubel, Mr. and Mrs.
W. Meyer, Mr. and Mrs. Vogel, fidence, to the Chaniber figures Hub, Mr. G. C. Luthy. which had been cerused by the Companyers at the results of the working of the s.. Maurany and Hinnang during the last three years.
After careful consideration of the facts disclosed, the Copuittee were of the opinion that the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co., Ltd., Ead responded quite fairly to the repre- sentations of the Chamber, it de ferting the introduction of the in- erease in freight rates until end of December when the rates would be increased by 10 per cent, in stead of 20 per cent. as origin ally proposed a further 10 per cent, to conie into force at the cad of Murgh, 1923, and in reducing the rate for deck passages, to $1 per hend
It was unanimously resolved to ask the local Agtnts to convey to their Principa the appreciation of the Chamber of the fair and cour teous manner in which they had considered the Chamber's repre sentations in this matter.
