Danger of
Neglected
COLDS!
THERE are always serious possibilities
in a neglected cold, and many victims claimed by pleurisy, pneumonia and chronic bronchitis owe their trouble to neglect in the first instance.
At this season, everybody needs Peps. This handy tablet medicine promptly relieves that tightaess and soreness about the chest, hoarseness of the throat and stafiness in the head. Immediately a Peps tablet dissolves in the mouth the healing and germicidal fumes released, are carried through the throat and bronchials- straight to the lungs.
Peps invigorate the entire bronchial system and are a splendid defence against the many Jung dangers of this season.

TWELFTH NIGHT CELEBRATIONS.
A FEAST OF COLOUR.
Last night was Twelfth Night, and the Society of St. George entertained their friends at the City Hall,......

This is the first Ball which the St. George's Society has given since 1925, and the success of last night's function should ensure that it becomes quite definitely an annual affair. Last night the Ball of the Society: of St. George was held in the Cir Hall, in a blaze of happinet. From the Agure of St. George at the head of the stairs to the red. rose, banners and the
arme of England's most inmote cities every thing carried one's thoughts back to home, and everywhere was a mass of green and flowers which so essentially an English form of decoration.
Both St. George's and St. An- drew's Hall were set apart for dancing, and large though they are, they were crowded for every item.
