The Shin Chik is owned by the China Pacifié Steam Navigation Company, for whom, the Wing Lee: Co. are acting as local agente. On arrival she anchored at Stonecut- tera and was later taken in haud by the Hong Kong and Whampoa Dock. Co. for overhaul.

She is a vessel of 1,183 nett. ton-

nage, and commanded by Captain Johnsen, with a crew of 50 Asiatics,

"Kochow" Stranded,

The . Aockor, commanded by Captain D. Morgan atranded on Christmas Day, while on the way from Tak Hing to Wuchow, and she will now have to be docked for repairs. She grounded on the Tai Lik Hau bank, but was refloated at 1,30° "ăm.¡ ̄ ̄ ̄fifteen minutes after going ashore. Her propellers were chipped and broken and the "rudder and rudder post were also damaged. The tail shift was also put out of alignment.

Asiatle Deck Passengers. The total number of Asiatic deck passengers entering into the Colony during the 24 hours ended_at_9 am. yesterday was 1,151.
