A VARIED CHRISTMAS
PROGRAMME.
FOOTBALL, CRICKET, GOLF, ROWING, ETC.
Yuletide will be an out-of-doors holiday so far as Hong Kong is concerned, and there is certainly a varied programme.
Several League Football matcbes will be played today, but the big attraction line will undoubtedly be the Interport Trial Match on the Club ground.
At Fauling, golfing enthusiasta have an excellent Christmas pro- gramme, from to-day until Tues- day, inclusive.
An event to-day, which will cer tainly draw a big attendance, is the Fanting Hunt Steeplechase Meet- ing at Kwanti, and of which **Rapier "hae something to say in -hik-notes in another columaa.
Three Cricket League matches are down for decision to-day, one in Division I, and two in Division II. In friendly cricket there is the married v. single match, an annual: contest on the Hong Kong Cricket Club ground, while at Kowloon the K.C.C. open against the Navy.
At the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club there is no racing for to-day,

The attraction will be on the Kowloon F.C. ground where the China Athletic Reserves are due to meet, Kowloon second. Kowloon are fielding a strong side and are confident of annexing full points.
Only one game is down for the "B" División. The Boy Scouts meet South China on the latter's ground. A team did well to beat St. Joseph's Reserves last week by the odd goal in five and are confident of taking full points from the Boy Scouts.
The Interport Trial. "The attractive on the Hong Kong side is the Interport Trial on the Hong Kong FC ground. The op- position comes from the Navy and with the number of ships in the harbour at the present time a strong side should be available to give the Selected team a hard game. This will probably be the last of the aerica this season. The team will leave Hong Kong on January 19th and the players to represent Hong Kong against Shanghai for the Telegraph Cap will be chosen after the Charity game on Tuesday next, when the final arrangements will be made for the trip, ndihmont
