THE LEAGUE POSITIONS: LITTLE CHANGE.
A notable feature of Saturday's Home Football League results is that there was comparatively low scoring, and that away teamS scored inore freely than usual.

Another feature in that home teams did not win as many matches as usual and away teams secured quite a number of victorien. In Division. II. away teams were the more successful. There were also à fair number of drawn matches. The highest scoring was in Division III. North.
There are few League position changes of note.
The match between Southend United and Swindon Town waa postponed, owing to snow at Southend.

The Moslems had the better of the second half but erratic shoot- ing lost them the game.
Last year's history repeated it- self on the Garrison ground when the R.A. beat the K.0.S.Bs. on Saturday. Inst. Leach the star shooter of the Gunners was absent, while Davies and Dowman made their first appearance in the R.A. senior team. The K.O.S.Bs. were at full strength. On the run of theaterval. Ng Chung scoring both... play, the "K.0.S.Bs. were unlucky to lose. Chances to score missed by both teams, especially the K.O.S. Bs. who failed with a penalty against the Gunnere goalie for carrying in the goal area. Pal- ford won the game for the R.A. by coring in the opening minutes. With this reverse the K.O.S.Ba. put new life into the play but several chances were missed. Trim played a good game for the Gunners.
