ARRIVALS NORMAL.
The number of vessels arriving into port during the week-end was normal, but freights carried for the Colony and for ports beyond were below the average.

Saturday's Returns, During the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. on Saturday there were 10,745 tons of freights landed here. Of these, 2,998 tons were from British bottoms. The two best returns were shown by the sis. Taita Maru, from Wakamatau, and the Cyclops from Birkenhead and Singapore. The former ship had 3,294 tons of coal and the latter was responsible for 2,400 tons of general mer- chandise.
Through cargoes amounted to 19,072 tons, of which, 6,907 tons were arried by four British steamers. The two best returns were 3,358. tons and 5,330 tons The former lot, was carried by the 3.8. Dakar.Mars from Otaru and Shanghai, and the latter was the 8.8. Cyclops from Birkenhead and Singapore...
