CHRISTIAN GENERAL CLAIMS . “ GREAT
AND SIMULTANEOUS SUCCESSES.”
The Nanking Government and most of the leaders of the Kuơ- mintang at present in Shanghai are still threatening to swoop down upon Canton in revenge of the coup carried out on General Lí Tsai Hein's departure. Those Kuomintang members who are believed to sympathise with the coup and those responsible for it have been advised not to participate in the present Kuomintang meetings Fukien military authoritics have been in consultation with Nanking officials and Fukien troops have since been moving in the direction of 'Kwangtung. And yet (according to our Chi nese correspondent) Canton is at present peaceful with trade apparently reviving.
The Kuomintang are also interesting themselves in the recent incident in Nanking in which several civiliama were shot in the street by the military.
