The vernacular Press publishes a remarkable story, which is stated to have come from Berlia, rii Shanghai, as to Boviet designs on Mongolia M. Borodin again bobs up and is stated to be the leader of an advisory drirgation" to be despatched to Urga. The story is thrillingly interesting, but, alas, it lacks confirmation. Thers can, however, be little doubt as to Soviet designs on Mon- golia, and as M. Horodin passed through part of the territory endently it is possible that some such wild project, as is now nooted, may be maturing.
