AN OVERWHELMING VICTORY.
HONG KONG'S SKIP'S UNENVIABLE POSITION.
[BY R. BIAS.] ·
The expected has happened and the prophets have been justified." Hong Kong has inst in the interport lawn bowls encounter for the Arst time on Colonial ground. The Shanghai team brought down the Prentice Cup-only to have the pleasure of taking it back again.
It has been advocated in this colum during the trials that of the four ultimately seleefed only Wallace was worthy to represent Hong Kong. There is no satisfac tion in emphasising that. The The best team has won-and won hands down. And A new record has been created by a visiting team winning away from home.
