Secalled "popular" meetings are belig held in various parts of the country favourable to the "Chiang Kai Shek Clique agitating against the Nanking Government and also advocating the claims of the Wuban régime to be the bona fide Kuomintang adminstration It is all very much of a Chinese puzzle, and it is extremely unlikely that those participating in those pseudo poli- tical plays know precisely what is their aim and object.
