Harbour Collision.
B. &B. Skipper Fined. Mr. W. J. Larter, master of the Liangchow, a B. & S. vessel, was summoned yesterday before the Deputy Harbour Master La-Comdr. 3. B. Newill, D.S.O., R.N., for failing to By the yellow flag and also for not having proceeded to the Quarantine Anchorage when the 15th from Shanghai, which was vessel came into port on September under quarantine restrictions
Mr. Larter pleaded guilty but said that when he left Shanghai on September 11th, he did not know that Shanghai came under the quarantine restrictions.
A fine of $100 was imposed.
