D owners for the comfort of their passengers, writes the North Bornen correspondent of the Singapore Free Press. The Alias, which is a 65 ton, steel vessel is a vast improvement on the old type of coasting steamer. She possesses in miniature most of the comforts of a modern liner even to having hot and cold water iaid on to the cabins. The comfort of deck passengers, whose lot is not enviable in dirty, weather, has been given careful thought with the result that space and shelter areKHYBER " provided for people who previously ALIPORETM got little consideration for the "NTANZA” dollar or two they paid for their "MALWA fares.
