PLEA FOR SUPPRESSION,
It becomes rather tiresome, says the Singapore Free Press, to keep on calling attention to the constant street murders which are being committed in Singapore, indeed they call attention to themselves, but apparently no serious effort will be made to tackle the situation until the attention of the Imperial Government can be drawn to the matter by questions in the House with the result that the depart- ment concerned will in its turn want to know what is being done by the Government here.
