IMPORTANT COMMITTEES APPOINTED.. WORK APPARENTLY PROGRESSING SATISFACTORILY.
HONAN GENERALS APPEALING TO MARSHAL WU PEI FU» AGAIN TO GET INTO ACTION.
Judging by the nature of the Committers appointed and even more by the imposing names identified with them, it would appear that the Kuomintang are getting along nicely at Nanking and that, so far, no unseemly act has happened to mar the fraternal spirit, the setting up of which was the primary object of the gathering.
Honan province, unhappily, still continues to be in the grip of a civil warfare of a more virulent charneter than that taking place in any of China's other seventeen provinces. The bostility. there against Marshai Feng is evidently becoming more than ever acrimonious, the latest more of Feng's opponents being to call upon Marshal Wu Pei Fu to join in the attack upon the individual "the com- whom Dictator Chang Tsu Lia recently referred to as mon enemys ofher, it would seem, than the ex-Christian Marshal. Whether Marshal Wa Pei Fu will endeavour to use this oppurtunity, to restore to himsell something approximating his former glory remains to be seen.
The latest report indicates that, despite the formidable and growing opposition, Marshal Feng's troops are more than bolding their own."
