LIVING IN DREAD OF SECRET SPIES.

500 VICTIMS OF THE G.P.U., EXECUTIONERS.

A revelation of Russia under the new Red Terror is provided by

Mr. H. J. Greenwall, the Daily Express special, correspon- dent.

His despatch below, the first uncensored news of the latest phase in Russia, shows a picture of a land where every one lives in drend of the secret agents of the G.P.U., the organisation that replaced the ill-amened. Cheka.

About 300 people wore executed during the wave of G.P.U. vengeance that followed the Arcos raid in London. Between 2,000 and 3.000 others were arrested. "In many cases nothing of their fate is known.
