main unbeaten in the Lava Bowls matches League. They now have now one were:- more match to play, againat Taikoo, Į. but next week they are without a fixture. They beat the Bowling Greca Club on Saturday by 29 shots at the Dock green. Of course, they have already won the Championship of the First Division, and are now only striving to retain their un- -beaten recorch The final tussle
with Taikoo will be interesting.
Taikoo have two matches more to play, next week against the Bowling Green Club, away, and as stated i against the Dock. Whether they win or lose it will make no differ- ence to their League position. They are already runners-up.
Taikoo
meet the Dock in their last match of the season on Saturday, August erth.
The Ciril Service C.C.put it across the Police. They won by a margin of 38 shots, and are now safe from relegation. They have six points for ten matches and have two more matches to play. Next week they entertain the Craigen- gower C.C., and whether they win or lose it won't much matter ́as re- gards League positions.
The Kowloon Cricket Club were. again defeated, losing to Craigen- gower on their own green by 14 shots, The K.0.0. have only one match to play and have only two points, so they will certainly go down.
In Division IL the Kowloon | Cricket Club look like going up while their first team is coming down: They beat the "Bowling Green Club on Saturday by a margin of 10 shots. They now have 19 points, and have two matches to go. Both these are against the Yacht Club, and they ought to win them. If so they will be Champions of Division II. with 22 points. If they happen to lose one, then East Point, who now have the same num- ber of points as the K.C.C., can get on level terms through winning their remaining fixture against the Craigengower C.C. next week. East Point beat Taikoo on Saturday by 10 shots, but in view of their recent Jefeat at the bands of the Craigen- Kower inen,, next week at the Valley may not turn out too easy for them.

Plans are also being made for the Interport (a triangular affair this games. year between Hong Kong, Shang hai and Malayd) which will be held in November.
A question which will arise in connection with this season's cricket will be with regard to mili- tary and naval teams. Probably most of the regiments would like to enter the League but that will of course raise practical dimeulties. There will be the question of grounds, and of getting all the matches completed in time, in view of the many local Clubs who already participate in the League.
Naturally, the soldiers will be able to field some good sides, and everyone will want to see them given the opportunity of playing.
