Police, Rifle and Launch The steam launch Kong Kim with a junk in tow steamed inside the Tai O harbour at about 5 pm on Monday. Police Sergeant Swan, who was on the verandah of Tai O Palice Station ordered the launch to stop by blowing four blasts on his whistle. This had no effect, so the signal was repeated four times The Arong Aim still failed to stop and as a last resource, the sergeant took up his Winchester ride and fired one shot across the bow of the launch, which, instead of stopping steamed away a full speed.
