CHINESE "A" NARHOW WIN.
HONDA AND ARIYAMA LOSE
A SET.
Despite the hot weather on Satur day, the different. Clubs competing | in the Lengur played off their res pretive Astures and some exciting matches resulted. A good manу people turned up at various clubs to watch the games, which is very encouraging. Interest in the Lengue is still being maintained and it is exported that the senson will be asj successful as any hitherto.
Close scores were registered, in the "A" and "B" divisions. Keen competition marked these matches and the standard of piny was sometimes very high. On the other hand, all the matches in the
division resulted in easy vic- tories for the winning Clubs.
The Chinese Recreation Club Found the University a very strong side in the "A" division and after Home very even play eventually won by games only. They, however, secured easy wins in their two other ], matches and thus repeated their
tiple win of last werk.
