The final of the Junior Section (Happy Valles) of the Royal Hong Kong Golf Club was to have been played yesterday.A start was made by J. McCubbin and R. C Wallace, who are the finalists, but the downpour during the morning prevented the match from being finished.

The players had reached the 30th bole, and after a ding-dong struggle all through they were thet square. The ground was in a flooded con- dition, and the match had to be pustponed until a tortnight's time

In the Third Division Bristol City, bead of the table, and Ply mouth, second, both won. Bristol City now have 38 points and Ply- mouth 34 points. Each have three more matches to play, and if Ply- mouth can beat Bristol City this week and win the remaining two they will go up into the Second Division, but it seems too much to nak.

At the close of the game, Mrs. H. M. McTavish presented the. Lai Wah Cup to the Rev. Alexander, C.F., the captain of the Army team. Before asking Mrs. McTavish to present the cup, Mr. A. T. Hamil ton outlined the history of the eup and congratulated the Army on being the winners this season. Alter receiving the cup, the Rev. Alexander handed to Tavish, a bouquet in silver holder and called for three cheers which were lustily, given.
