to £300 received by him in the preceding month of July; and it is probable that before next March, Mr Baillie will have to disburse about £650 for salaries to Officers, as well as for certain Advance Stores received here "Forfarshire" and "Sharks", it has been deemed necessary to draw £1500 less than the Parliamentary Grant, to provide for the foregoing Payments.
I therefore think it necessary to render this explanation, for the purpose of the same being notified to the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury –
