British arrivals yesterday WOTS the best contributors to the amount of general cargo carried into this port and for other ports beyond Hong Kong. Tas total returns for inward and through cargoes, how ever, were still below the average.
There were in all 8,270 tons of general merchandise brought into The Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. yesterday. Of these 7,353 tons were carried by five British vassola.
