THROUGH CARGOES
DECREASED,
The returns showing the amount of general merchandise brought into the Colony during the 34 hours ended at a.m. yesterday showed that inward cargoes had returned
the normal,
while through freights had decreased.
The Colony's imports during the period under review, amounted to 16, 117 tons
Of these, 693 tons were discharged from two British
steamers.
The two beat returns were shown by the s. Timannek from Dairer. and Amoy, which brough 015 tons, and the Prosper (Norwegian) Brought 2,000 tons from Saigon.
