In addition to general merchan- dise there were also 4.850 tons of rice and 4,268 tons of coal brought into the Colony, and 1,567 tons of coal for ports beyond Hong Kong.
During the period under review, there were 18 arrivals and It de partures. They were: British, 8 ar- rivals and 7 departures; Japanese, 3 arrivals and a departares; Nor wegian, 2 arrivals and 1 departure; Chinese, 4 arrivals and depar tures: French, 1 arrival.
The total number af vessels in the Harbour was 69, of which, 25 were British.
