RETURNS.

LOCAL IMPORTS LOW BUT THROUGH CARGOES FAIR.

A NORMAL ENTRY REGISTERED.

The amount of general merchan- dise imported into the Colony dur- ing the week-end was below the average. Through cargoes manifest ed on the vessels passing through here during the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. yesterday were fair.

There were entries during the period under review, but only 10 vessels discharged here. The total amount of general cargo unloaded on Sunday was 19,812 tona, of which, 7,419 tons were from British bottoms

Through cargues amounted to 16,423 tona. Of these 9,368 tons were manifested on 6 British steamers.

Yesterday's Statements. As compared with the previous day's returns, local imports of general merchandise during the 24 hours ended at 8 am yesterday had fallen considerably.
