Locker Lampson, Under-Becretary for For eign Affairs (Wood Green), reply- ing to Colonel Woodcock (Everton, U., who asked if China, Peru, and Bolivis had now paid their arrears of contributions due to the League of Nations, replied in the negative So far as he was aware, he said, no definite scheme for payment had yet been put forward by any of the States named. A part of the Chinese contribution in respect of 1923 was paid, but nothing had been received in respect of the years 1923, 1924, and 1925; a payment on account of the Chineze contribution for 1998 had been received. The last payments by Beru and Bolivia were in 1920 and 1823 respectively, | and no further payments had since been made by those countries.
