The Indo-China S.N. Co steamer Kum Sang arriving from Singapore yesterday. brought 2,140 tons of general cargo for local, discharge and 1,516 tona,, for ports beyond. She also brought (39 deck pas acogers.

The 6.5. Toget Maru, from Keelung. came into port yesterday and landed 2,550 tons of coal here. The vessel also carried 2,100 tons of the same cargo for Canton.

The Manila office of the Admiral Oriental line announce that the name of that line has been chinged to the American Mail Line, says the Manila Timea. It will come into effect simul- taneously, with the inauguration of the horseshoe service from Battle to San. Francisco. Five liners are now being. operated from Seattle to Manila by the Admiral Oriental line. The Hong Kong office has not been advised

Tokyo, December 5th-Owing to severe vibration and poisonous gas from motor engines, the crew of the N.Y.K. steamer Asuka Maru and Avago Maru which recently arrived at Yokohama from Bri tain are all suffering from a nervous disease.
