LIEUT. HANKEY SCORES 10
There was a full programme of League matches on Saturday and the games played that day by the Royal Navy and Kowloon Cricket Club in the first division bring all the competing teams into the league table. No Club in either "division has yet a decisive lead, but there are two or three who are already out of the run ning
Tho match of the afternoon was that between Indian Recreation Club and Royal Navy, which, after a cioso, and keen struggle resulted in a win for the latter. The Scottish Borderers put up a very good performance against the Chinese and did well with both bat and ball. Capt. Dobbie secured seven wickets for 31 runs and Lt. Hankey scored 104 not out. This is the second century of the season, the first being by Balbatchet (University) with 122 not out.
Kowloon entered upon the League arena and, as expected. beat Craigengower, while the dismissal of the Royal Engin- eers and Signals for the small total of 31 was a great surprise.
There were three matches in the Second Division, of which the one between the Police and Civil Service was the most important. The University gained an other three points on Friday by defeating the Royal Navy.
The standard of bowling was maintain. ed and many good returna are shown in the analyses.

THE FINAL...
Yesterday the semi-final rounds of the Golf Championship of the Royal Hong Kong Golf Club Championship were decided at Fanling.

The final of the Championship will be played next Sunday over 36 holes between Shewan and Pendered, and the match should be well worth witnessing.
