On Wednesday last. the meet, was at Patts' Bungalow at 3 o'clock under Alec MANY LOCAL RESIDENTS AMONG ed to the Colony after spending long Patte with Capt. Reidy and Lt. Cur. Fanshawe as whips. There was a fair crowd including Mr Paterson, Cal Comyn, Comdr. Broadley, and Lient Dangerfield. The bounds. drew REAT Souza's Bungalow and ran to Lok Ma Chop cross roads, on through Lowu Chimp down to the Samchun river where they were left nosing round the bank as the fox had apparently gone to his native

To-day the meet is at Potts Bungalow at 3 o'clock and to-morrow at Sheung Shui Police Station at 5 o'clock.

To-morrow will see the second Cham- pionship race for the cruisers, and the course for their race will be to Cheung Chau and back, a distance of 95 miles.

On Monday the Ladies' Section will be out again, and this will be their fouth championship race. The course will be Channel Rocks (5.), Mark in Quarry Bay (S.), Kowloon Rock (P). The distance is approximately five miles.

On the following Saturday and Sunday there will again be races for the racing classes and the cruisers, and another race for the ladies on the Monday. This will conclude the programme before Christ.
