1.-Conditions for Emelency, Attention is drawn to the revised First Appendix to the Volunteer Ordinance, a copy of which is being sent to each member of the Corps. The principla alterations are that 15 drills and 4 days in camp are essential for efficiency with the provise that in special cases the ad ministrative commandant enn approve of e of the 4 days camp being replaced by drills at the rate of 3 drills for each day.
3-6 Howitzer and Armoured Car. Neither the 6 Hawitzer nor the Armoured Car must be taken over the roof of the Miniature Range or beyond the white line drawn across the ceatre" of the drill 'hall.

Q.C., M.I. and A. Companies will report to Corps Headquarters before 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1st, the number of members attending camp, so that rations can be arranged.

Baggage: Members wishing to have their baggage sont to the Camp at Fan- ling must deliver it, clearly labelled with the owners' names at Corps Headquar ters by 230 p.m. on Friday, December 3rd.
Rides and bayonets are not on any account to be left in camp during mid- week.
Bedding will be drawn from the store cent by members sleeping in camp, and returned before members leave or the Sunday evening, or Monday morning.
Arms: Rifles and bayonets may be drawn from Corps Headquarters between the following hours:-
From Monday, November 29th, to Thursday, December 2nd: 9. to 19 noon, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., 0 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and, on Friday, December 3rd, between 9' a.m.
and 12 Boon only.

Capt. Logan, M.C., the Officer Cam- manding the Scottish Company of the Hongkong Volunteers, writes to contra- dict the statement made in the Daily Press on Tuesday, in connection with the Volunteer Camps, that "the Pun- jabis failing to turn up for a sham Sght, the Scots carried it out with an imaginary enemy. No such sham fight was arrang- ed and consequently there was no ques tion of the Punjabis failing

the engagement. The information, as published, was given to the Daily Press by a member of the Scottish Company who presumably thought that a sham fight with the Punjabis was part of the programma.
