This latter provision is very wise. Play is possible, it may be, up to 5.30 p.m. but it is a very bad light, "which in my opinion is worse for the felding side in many ways than for the batsmen, I ad- mit. I don't quite follow the KC.C. match on the Saturday. I have heard that many prominent members of the K.C.C. are going into camp with the H.K.V.D.C. on Friday evening But no doubt things
have been squared up somehow.
As regards seating. The public stand is at the corner of Des Yeux Road, and the price of a seat is 50 cents. I night mention that I believe this seldom covers the cost of the erection of the stand. For members, subscribers and their ladies, a special stand has been erected along the north side of the ground, with the entrance in Chater Road. The Press, I believe, will be accommodated in the present Scoring Box on the top of the Pavilion, while a special matshed is being erected for the scorers next the big Scoring Board, on the S.E. corner of the ground. It whispered that entrance thereta is obtainable only on" special in vitations (of which none"will be issued)

Evera. It will not be aaay to decide on the exact cleven. Beatty has been rather off colour lately with the ball, and he is not very strong in the Beld or with the bat. Capt.
