Among the vessels arriving yesterday an improvement in treights. Hongkong was the Blue Funnel liner Riesenor carga increased by 7,000 tona freights for ports beyond by over 4,000 from the North with 3,240 tons of cargo for for other ports but only 1 ton During the 24 hours ended at 9 am Hongkong She sailed yesterday for yesterday, 11 veselss arrived, and 7 de Europe via Marseilles. Now that the Empress of Australia is undergoing extensive refit at Home, the intervals of sailing of the Empress of Canada, Empress of dais and Empress of Rusia, have become irre- gular and it has therefore been arranged. that the Vancouver-Mazila run" will be organised on a 21 day sailing schedule. The pew arrangement will shorten the stay in Hongkong on the homeward journey by these three days.
In the Chinkiang harbour district, Rotico is given that on November 16th, owing to the extension of the shoal off the north point of Pitman-Eing Island, Fitman-King Shoal Buoy will be moved 4.1. cables S. 88 degrees E. SAILING A WEEK BEHIND SCHEDULE.
The ss. Tenyo Muru, belonging to the N.7.E. Line, which weat aground last Thursday afternoon thres miles outside Yokohama, from which port she had left for San Francisco, was successful refloat- ed by the aid of salvage vessels. She is now sailing for America (San Francisco) to-morrow, a week behind her schedule, following the completion of survey and minor repairs at Yokohama.
The Tenyo Maru, which formerly be longed to the Toyo Kisen Kaisha, is a regular caller at Hongkong. When she met with her mishap she had four million gold yen on board, which is being export- ed to America.
