We are directed by Her Majesty's Commissioners for the Exhibition of 1851 to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 6th inst., enclosing Copy of a Despatch from the Governor of Hongkong, in which His Excellency reports that the colony is not prepared to avail itself of the space which has been set apart for it in the Building, but will transmit it at the same time. The Draft for £131.5.5, as account of the subscriptions raised.
