It is understood that the stay of the
Court at Balmoral this year will be rather more exhilarating than it has been for, some time. There will be more visitors than has been the case for several years. Some of them will go there for the Grit time, and it would be interesting, if it were possible, to collect their opinion about the various memorial cairns which are scattered about the estate.

Two passengers were killed and 11 ta jured when a Paris aeroplane, carrying 15 passengers, crashed into A barn at Romney Marsh on August 18th.

There is no place in Hongkong, and probably no place in the Far East, which can boast such an exhibition of Eastern art as the establishment of Messrs. Komer & Komor, newly opened in St. George's Building, on the premises of the old "Café Wiseman, Mr. S. Komor has devoted a life-time to the study of such art and his knowledge of it is surprising. He can tell the age of a piece of porcelain by glancing at it; he can explain the mystic legends which various pieces depict.
