LONDON, August. 27th.

It is understood that the stay of the

Court at Balmoral this year will be rather more exhilarating than it has been for, some time. There will be more visitors than has been the case for several years. Some of them will go there for the Grit time, and it would be interesting, if it were possible, to collect their opinion about the various memorial cairns which are scattered about the estate.

DISASTER TO AIR LINER.

TWO" PASSENGERS KILLED: 11 INJURED.

Two passengers were killed and 11 ta jured when a Paris aeroplane, carrying 15 passengers, crashed into A barn at Romney Marsh on August 18th.

An American and an Italian were kill. ed. The former, Mr. Robert Blaney, was the son of a well-known U.S. artist. The Italian was Signor Rizzi Gino, one of the

best known restauranteurs in London.

The aeroplane was coming from France toward London, and apparently was re- racing its track with a view to landing in a feld, when it caught the top of a barn on College Farm at Horst, just strik ing the roof of the building a few inches below the top, and then crashed into a Igable of the barn.

Men who were working in the stack yard had a miraculous escape. They had just unharnessed their horses, and the animals terror stricken by the fall of the aeroplane bolted, and were not caught until they had galloped a mile or a mile and a half from the scene.

Two of the male passengers were found to be dead, and of the others in the sero- plane, including the pilot and mechanic, many were seriously injured, and were

There is no place in Hongkong, and probably no place in the Far East, which can boast such an exhibition of Eastern art as the establishment of Messrs.
