INTERPORT CRICKET.

PROBABLE SHANGHAI PLAYERS TO VISIT HONGKONG.

The Shanghai team is well on its way towards completion for the visit to Hong- Eong to participate in the Interport Cricket The remaining vacancies are to be filled after the trial matches have been played.

The Shanghai Cricket Club is inviting the leading players to signify their wil- lingness to make the trip to Hongkong if they are chosen, and it seems likely, says the Shanghai Times, that the follow ing men will bccept: Capt. Barrett, Dr WE OHare, H Ollerdessen, M Divecha, L. Goldman, S. Isaacs, D. W. Leach, E.. G. Baracs,. W. Allison, W. Mansell Smith and J. Quayle. Should," however, any of these players not be able to accept the invitation, the following may then be in the team: England, Burn, P Madar, E. Rogerson, and W. Cockburn

[If, of course, the local situation at Shanghai remains serious, it is unlikely that Capt. Barrett, who is now head of the Shanghai Police, will be able to leave for Hongkong.]
