RUGBY, September 16th. There is a small boom in tin shares on the Stock Exchange as the result of the rising price of tin, which to-day touched 2316.12.6 per ton for cash.

MEXICO CITY, September 18th. The retired New York merchant, Jacob Rosenthal who was captured by bandits, was murdered by the bandits when Federal soldiers were parsuing them so close that the latter were able to kill two of the bandits.
