launch is now at Sun Tak, and another states that it is in the vicinity of Ma Kin Sha. It is also stated that the crew of the launch had been put ashore and that the robbers on board had decamped: although there seems no doubt that the Wing Shiny" has been captured by some force, as the owner of the boat has received news to this effect, it is not possible to ascertain into whose hande she bays fallen. The authorities advance the opinion that it may not be troops, but a stronger gang of bandits who have taken possession of her. At any rate there seems little hope of regaining pos session of the launch for the time being.

Sickness in the Army. Cholers and sickness generally in the Northern Expeditionary Army appear to be as effective "as anti-Red" bullets in cutting off lives, according to a statement of an officer, belonging to the 6th Corps. The "crolics carrying supplies for the Army have been the worst sufferers. The recent heat ware in the Kwangtung Hunan districts was also responsible for the loss of many lives,
