In reply to your Letter dated the 27th Ultimo I have it in command to acquaint You, for the information of Earl Grey,
that the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury do not object, to the Governor of Hong Kong being authorized to apply the Balance of £6,044-16-9, referred to in his despatch of the 19th April last, for the Construction of the Government House at that Settlement.
