THERE is considerable satisfaction in learning that the Admiralty intend to publish a full and complete account of the loss of H.M.S. Hampshire and the death of Lord KriCHENER. The following preliminary notes hava. reached Hongkong from Professor John Anderson, of the Hongkong University, who is attending the biennial conference of the China Medical Association which was opened as Peking on August 31st, and will continue until September 8th.
The opening reception of the biennial conference was held in the Ying Com pound, San Tine Hutung, at 8.30 p.m., on August 31st, the Peking Medical Society being the host.
