It is pleasing to find the last mentioned Raze in the programme as the Fanling Hunt is destined to pay no small part in the life of the Sporting Community The Course at Fanting is in excellent condition thanks to the untiring energy of Dr. Pierce Grove and to the generosity of Messrs. Brunner Mond & Co. who have given fertilizing materials to the value of over $700,

Dr. Pierce Grove is going Home on leave very shortly and he will no doubt be able to get some valuable information auent hounds and hundies, from his son, Frank Charles, whose photograph recent- ly appeared in most of the Home Illus- trated Sporting Papers. He is Master of the Cambridge University Drag and a rider of repute. Mr. A.. H. Potts will take over the duties of clerk of the Fan- ling Course, during, the absence of Dr. Pierce Grove, and all communications regarding the Hunt should be addressed either to him or to Mr. H. Birkett. By the way the latter has a supply of books of railway tickets which are available for subscribers to the Hunt on payment of 13.30. These tickets are the same ns those issued to members of the Golf Club, and Hunt subscribers will no doubt ap- preciate the privilege extended to them by the Railway Company.
