Of the cargo for Hongkong, British vessels brought 9,185 tons, the best entries | being 4,703 tons of liquid fueld and 1,660 tons of general cargo. Of the remaining 12,561 tons brought by vessels of other nationalities, the best entries were 4,903 tons of coal, and 4,325 tons and 1,770 tons of general cargo. Of the freight for porta beyond, two British steamers ar- rived 5,221 tons between them, one entry being for 3,041 tons. Of the remaining 27,997 tone in other vessels, all but one entry reached double figures. The best returns were 8,800 tons, 5,912 tons and 4,539 tons.
