The 11 tan-schooneryacht · Primrose FF, of Boston, America, with an amateur crew of six, reached Falmouth after having crossed the Atlantie in what is believed to be a record time for a craft of her size, says the Found and Military Record of July 21st.
She arrived in England to compete in the ocean race from Cowas to Fastnet, her crew being impressed by the fine example get by the Plymonth yacht Jolie Brise, which had gone to America to compete in races there.
