Louise
Admiralty
Office of Registry General,
My Lords do not deem it necessary that the Governor should be directed ipso facto for the recovery of the Sum of £90.2.7 which
had been issued to him, and
of which My Lords will authorize
the Admission previous thereto.
Mr Levenson
referred to in the Communications
made by their direction to
Ford Grey
on the 14th July last.
But you are requested
You will further observe to
Ford Grey that My Lords
are not prepared to award any additional Indemnity to Mr Inglis in respect of the Resignation of his Office, and will also
suggest to his Lordship that
in notifying to the Governor of Hong Kong the Allowance
of the Payment beforementioned, care should be taken that Officers should be apprized
that such Allowance is not to be
implying any
assumption for the retention of Superannuation Deductions.
Your obedient
Le Truly
