LAWN BOWLS.
RESULT OF SATURDAY'S GAMËS.
Two games were played on Saturday in the First Division of the Bowls League and the fixtures in this section have now been completed. Taikoo have again won the Championship. They have played ten' games, won eight, and lost two, and finish up with 16 point out of a possible 20.
U
Craigengower 0.0. and the Kowloon Dock Recreation Club bave tied for second place with fourteen points each, but the latter should secure it by virtue of a better-shot-average.
The Wooden Spoon" has once more gene to the Police, and they will be due for relegation next season, unless the present rule is altered.
In the Second Division there were two surprises. The Taikoo R.C, were defeat- ed at home by the Civil Service C.C., and Craigengower lost on their own green to the Club de Recreio. At home the Kow- loon Cricket Club won comfortably over the Indian R.C., the latter club haring! to play away as their own green is still unplayable on account of the damage done by the recent storm. Although the East Point R.C. defeated the Royal Hongkong Yacht Club, they are still only third on the League table, but they have a game in hand..
The details of the games follow:-
